Tats are ok, if thought about and planned. if you will undertake something like a sleeve then at least find the right artist and be original..
Martin Škrtel for example, has had a sleeve for the fashion of having a sleeve and it looks crap..

I went to see a great band from Nashville called The Cadillac 3 the other night, a proper shit-kicking American rock and roll band.
They looked the real deal, slightly greasy, baseball caps, long hair and battered Les Pauls.
I'd say most of the girls in the audience (in London) had more numerous and better tattoos.
That's pretty fucked up.

Getting a Tat done should be part of the story of your life.
I got the WHU Crest
I got the kids names
I got a Samurai done when I my first dan in Kendo
I got a Buddha done after I spent a month in a Buddhist retreat.
I got the Irish Harp done as it was also a Tat that my granddad had...
Those are the Tats that you dont regret.
